Mediterranean Riviera

We’ve all heard of the Riviera – it’s actually one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world. A region of coastal nature set running from southeast France to Northwest Italy, the Riviera is a narrow area between the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea (considered to be the largest of the inland seas). Practically the entire area is, of course, considered to be ideal resort locations, thanks to the scenery, favorable climate, and fascinating flora (which are exported). While it is true that when the Riviera is mentioned, the first thing that comes to mind is the FRENCH Riviera – also known as Cote d’Azur – this does not mean that the Mediterranean Riviera (the part of the Riviera closer to Italy and reaching the Mediterranean Sea) does not in fact have a following. In fact, the Mediterranean Riviera is just as pleasant and popular as the French Riviera, if not more so

Mediterranean Riviera (also known to some as the Italian Riviera, though parts of France are in fact in the Mediterranean), which happens to be divided into two parts – the Riviera di Ponente, east of Genoa and the Riviera di Levante, west of Genoa – have the benefit of being quieter destinations as opposed to the glamor of the French Riviera. Here, the vacation promises to be a bit more relaxing than other vacations thanks to the Mediterranean Riviera’s old-style fishing ports and beautiful flower specimens.

There are many ways that one may spend a holiday at the Mediterranean Riviera, and we are working to show just how great your holiday can be.
